Three Sisters Quilt - Block Three

Block Three: Homespun

Took some seam ripping and resewing on one step to get the points closer to lining up. Far from perfect points, but I'm happy with out it's turning out.

Three Sisters Quilt - Block One

Block One: Kansas Troubles

This is the first time I've participated in a quilt block a month program, although I've been wanting to do one for years. The quilt is the Three Sisters Sampler Pattern, and the fabric is Moda Shaded Oak Flannel. One interesting tip I learned at the first meeting was to use spray starch and press the fabric before cutting to prevent the flannel from stretching.
